Such an amazing group of people there, Aaron and Kane especially. Both absolute legends. They sure know how to make your time at table top a fun and memorable experience. Thanks to Aaron I have spent more money on Magic cards than anything else lately. I may have no money now, but I go in for the vibes. Legends.

TLDR: My wife & I were lied to, humiliated in front of a group of strangers, and I missed out on a product I wanted. Today was the release of a much hyped and anticipated set for the Pokémon TCG. My wife and I woke up early and took time off of work so that we could queue in front of different stores before they opened. We thought this would be a fun adventure to try and get some products we, and everyone else, were both really excited about. She even brought her trade binder along in case anyone in the queue wanted to trade while they waited. I got to Tabletop Warfare two hours before they opened and stood there on my own, while my wife went down the street a little to EB, where she was also alone until a group of people who had missed out at Big W turned up. When EB opened, she was first in line, and was allowed to buy three of the smaller products, which was fair. They didn’t have any of the larger and more sought-after ETBs. She then came to meet me and hold my place in the line for a few minutes. Before I got back, she met me halfway to tell me that a staff member had come out of the store and told her that they had no stock, only pre orders. As a side note, this was despite being told yesterday that there would be stock. She is a regular, and we’ve both previously had good shopping experiences here, making this whole thing even more disappointing. We then told others that there was no stock, including one gentleman who was on his way there from EB and has presumably missed out. By this point both Big W and EB had nothing left. After some breakfast and putting my wife’s purchases in the car, we decided to go back to the store anyway, as we wanted to buy a few unrelated products and support this store. When we got to the store there was a small crowd, and we were confused when a staff member came out and told them to form a line. We asked if they had stock, because I had lined up from 8am, and he said yes. We told him that someone else had just told us that they didn’t, at which point he checked with his colleague, and then told us he told my wife that because she already had ‘a bunch’ of stock from EB. He then accused us of being scalpers in front of the crowd, which was A) Factually incorrect, B) Mean-spirited, and C) Completely humiliating. We calmly tried to explain that we were not, in fact, scalpers, and that I myself hadn’t purchased anything, and lost my place because of this lie, and he said “It’s a no from us”. We were then allowed to join the back of the queue, and they promptly ran out of ETBs. This left me with two of the smaller products after going to no small amount of effort, being talked to like human garbage, and my wife feeling awful and guilty just because she had secured some products for herself. I don’t know why they weren’t just honest in the first place and said that they didn’t want to serve people who had already managed to get some products. We genuinely would have understood that, although we would have hoped that I could be treated as a separate person and not told that 'we' already had some products. I would have been happy to just buy an ETB as a compromise. Instead, we got dishonesty, and then they humiliated us and doubled down on their justification for dishonesty, and eventually fell back on “there is more stock coming”. That’s not the point. This experience was horrendous. And to the poor guy who probably got nothing because we were trying to help, we're so sorry.

Awesome experience in store. The guys are friendly and happy to share knowledge, which saved me some money! Shop was also a bit busy and they handled everyone superbly. Shop itself is well laid out, no clutter. Plenty of stock too! I apologise to the short haired employee as well, I didn't shake your hand but I was in a bit of rush when I realised the time. Sorry mate!

Great range and awesome staff. Happy to explain the ins and outs of different paints as well as game rules for various games. Highly recommend dropping by and checking them out! Plus they have a huge range of boardgames, makes it hard to buy just one!
